Allan E Baker passed on to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

He was a member of Shores United Methodist Church and anchored a family wholly devoted to hard work and serving the Lord.

Allan was born Sept. 16, 1953, in Willard, to Vaughn and Dorothy Baker of North Fairfield.

He graduated from South Central High School in 1971 and married to the love of his life, June (Knapp) Baker, on Sept. 18, 1971.

Allan was a hard worker and active in the communities he lived in. While living in Ohio, he worked as a machinist and factory worker for over 20 years before obtaining his degree from The Ohio state University in education. In addition to working, Allan also served as a little league coach, Scout master, street commissioner, Council member, and Mayor of North Fairfield.

After moving to Florida in 1995, Allan started teaching science at Murray Middle School, to which he devoted 25 years before retiring in 2020.

Allan served as a member of Board of Directors for The St. Augustine Shores from 2004-2010 where he founded and directed a youth soccer league. He also served as a laboring missionary several times from 2010-2015 for Appalachia Service Project.

He is survived by his wife, June of St. Augustine, Florida; sons, Jason (Sarah) Baker and Ryan Baker, both of St. Augustine, Florida; and grandchildren, Jason Jr. (Meghan) Baker, Owen Baker, Garrett Baker, Margaret Baker, Zoe Baker, Sidney Baker, Rylie Baker, and Shelbi Baker.

Allan's memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday May 27, 2023, at St. Augustine Shores United Methodist Church, 724 Shores Blvd., St. Augustine, Florida, 32086.
