Anita Madeline (Kilianek) Brewer, 75, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Sunday, October 5, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Anita was born July 18, 1950, in Sandusky to Frank and Jane Kilianek. She spent most of her life working in the restaurant industry, where she served many and made friends wherever she went. Anita was a strong, generous, and loving woman, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved son, Jeremy Ryan "Bo" Brewer; and her nephew, Brandon Ehlers.

Anita is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her sister, Candy Ehlers; daughter, Jesseca Click (and husband, Jesse); son, Jared Brewer (and wife, Cindy); granddaughters, Amanda and Brittany; grandsons, James, Riley, and Caleb; great-granddaughters, Arria and Brynlee; companion, Edward Brewer; and many other cherished family members and friends.

Her warmth, strength, and kindness touched all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved.

Calling hours are from 4-6 p.m., followed by a service, Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday. October 10, 2025, at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Sandusky. A Celebration of Life will be hosted later Friday, beginning at 4 p.m. at the Event Room at Toft, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky (entrance in back).
