Anna Wolbert, 88, residing in Castalia, passed away peacefully Friday afternoon, Dec. 20, 2024, at The Willows at Bellevue after a lengthy illness.

Anna was born June 8, 1936, in Indiana County, Pennsylvania to the late Carl and Bertha (Bartlebaugh) Larson.

Anna was a homemaker. She married her late husband, Dennis J. Wolbert Sr., on September 5, 1959, in Lucinda, Pennsylvania. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting, trips to PA, bus trips with her sisters and friends, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Anna is survived by her children, Denny Wolbert Jr. of Bellevue, Laura (Tom) Schmuhl of Norwalk, Pamela (Chuck) Orman of Sandusky, Doug (Susan) Wolbert of Sandusky and Karen (John) Lehman of Huron; 11 grandchildren, Keli, Heather, Jared, Logan, Nathan, Kyle, Lucas, Thomas, Maggie, Katie and Kenny; 10 great-grandchildren and one on the way; two brothers, Bert (Nancy) Larson of Hawthorn, Pennsylvania and Gary Larson of Knox, Pennsylvania; sisters, Betty Buzard of Clarion, Pennsylvania, Ethel (James) Stitt of Cherry Run, Pennsylvania, Alice (Richard) Strauser of Sligo, Pennsylvania and Judy Strauser of Knox, Pennsylvania; and numerous other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Anna is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Wolbert Sr. in 2019; her infant daughter, Patricia Ann Wolbert; brothers, Lewis Larson and William Larson; sisters, Dorothy Limrick, Ellen Larson and Stella Stromyer.

At the request of the family, private services will be at a later date. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
