Arvilla Strecker, 100, of Bellevue, passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, 2022, at The Bellevue Hospital.

She was born June 22, 1922, in Norwalk, the daughter of Albert and Flora (Lyons) Chaffee. Arvilla married Myron Strecker on Jan. 2, 1942, and he preceded her in death in 2006.

Arvilla was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker while raising her two sons before working in medical billing. She enjoyed camping, sewing, and gardening and cherished her time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Kevin (Holly) Strecker of Bellevue; five grandchildren, Danny, Trisha, Logan, Seth, and Gabe; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Tim Strecker; sisters, Lavada Cook, Blanche Weinert, and Florence Burras; and brothers, Carl, Charles, Richard, Harold, Leonard, and Lawrence Chaffee.

Private services will be observed. Foos & Foos Funeral Service, Bellevue, is in care of arrangements.
