Barbara Pearl Gresh passed away Friday, June 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Barb was born October 20, 1940, to Harold W. And Pearl B. (Hephner) Laser in Marblehead.
She was an inspector for Uniroyal until the plant's closing. She then returned to Kroger, where she was fondly known as the "Cookie Lady" until her retirement in 2014.
She enjoyed playing cards, dancing, and cooking for others, but her family and friends were her life. Barb touched many lives with her kind and generous spirit.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Terri Gresh of Port Clinton, Paul (Laura) Gresh of Kingsport, Tennessee, Chuck (Karen) Gresh of Port Clinton, and Dwayne Stone of Petoskey, Michigan. She was a beloved grandmother to Amanda (Patrick) Wise of Sandusky, Ariel (Michael) Jacobs of Bowling Green, Caitlin Gresh of Port Clinton, Ryker Stone of Petoskey, Michigan, and a beloved grandma-great to Jordan (James) Chappelear of Columbus, Jocelyn Rohde of Port Clinton, Joel Rohde of Sandusky and Clara Jacobs of Bowling Green. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Lois Laser of Monroeville, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her her parents; brothers, Robert (Ruth) Laser and infant brother, Richard, twin brother, William; brother-in-law, Clarence Lucas; and sisters, Betty Laser, Viola (Robert) Randell, Patricia (Charles) Netherland, and Peggy (Tom White) Lucas; sister-in-law, Patricia Laser;
nephews, Dave Netherland and Rick Lucas; and niece, Linda Rannier.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Providence Rehabilitation Center and her dialysis team at Firelands Regional Medical Center for the loving care that Barb received.
Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Riverview Cemetery for immediate family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations maybe give to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.

I met Barb at Magruder hospital. We were roommates in the
BABY DEPT.... we each had a boy, in 1966 We became Friends then.
I enjoyed her smile ALWAYS!!. She was a precious lady.
