Bette Jean Bottger Eavenson, beloved widow and friend, passed away from a brief illness on Thursday, Sept.17, 2024, at 68 years of age.. Born July 14, 1956, in Norwalk, Bette graduated from Perkins High School in 1974. Her life was marked by warmth, kindness, and unwaivering dedication to her family.

Bette was a devoted wife to her late husband Mark Eavenson. Although she had no children, her presence was a source of comfort and joy to those who knew her.

Bette worked in the auto industry and is remembered for her steadfast and dependable nature.

She is survived by her brother, William Howard Bottger, Bellevue; her sisters, Beverly Ann Bottger Neely, Columbus, Brenda Kay Bottger (Michael) Smith, Newark, Barbara Jo Bottger (Pete) Garcia, Fort Worth, Texas and Bobette Gayle Bottger (Frank) Metz, Xenia; and numerous extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Sue Bottger Hohler; and her parents, Susan Marie Weilnau Bottger and Howard Theodore Bottger.

Bette was especially close to her many nieces and nephews, especially Lisa and Jamie Smith, both of Sandusky, who were among her closest family members.

Bette will be remembered for her enduring kindness and positive impact she had on those around her. Her memory will be cherished by those who knew her.
