Betty Lou Cunningham, 86, residing in Norwalk, passed away early Sunday morning, March 22, 2026, at her residence.
Betty was born April 22, 1939, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Milton and Theresa Brown. She was a devoted member of New Life Church in Sandusky.
Betty is survived by her husband of 61 years, John Cunningham; two daughters, Pam (Douglas) Edds and Patricia (Brian) Hollaway; two sons, John (Wilma) Cunningham and Daniel (Kia) Cunningham; six grandchildren, Amanda (Kevin) Hughes, Micah (Ashley) Edds, Grant (Olivia) Hollaway, Grayson (Melody) Hollaway, Arielle (Ken) Laycock, and Noah (Samantha Forester) Cunningham; five great-grandchildren, Sebastian Edds and Grant, Channing, Keegan and Colton Laycock; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Groff Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave. Sandusky, OH 44870, with Pastor John Adams presiding. Entombment will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
