Betty J. Hill, 75, of Huron, passed away Wednesday morning, Oct. 9, 2024, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, following a brief illness.

She was born Sept. 20, 1949, in Breathitt County, Kentucky, and graduated from Sandusky High School in 1967. She was a member of 1st Christian Church, Sandusky, where she loved to help with various church activities. Betty enjoyed traveling and reading.

She is survived by her son, Douglas Hill; grandchildren, Matthew (Emily) Hill and Hannah (Carl Moreheart) Hill; sisters-in-law, Debbie Bush and Arlene Wahl; brother-in-law, William Hill; nephew, Joseph Bush; and several nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Hill in 2022; parents, Fred and Jessie (Partin) Bush; and brothers, Paul and Mitch Bush.

At the request of Betty, there will be no services and cremation will take place.

Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Erie County Humane Society.
