Bonita L. Landoll, 82, residing in Monroeville, passed away early Saturday morning, Feb. 17, 2024, at Norwalk Memorial Home after a lengthy illness.
Bonita was born Sept. 20, 1941, in Norwalk, to Raymond and Loyal (Weaver) Grinold.
Bonita was a lifelong resident of the area and worked as a LPN, caring for many people throughout her career. She enjoyed socializing with her friends, dancing ballet, and loved animals.
Bonita is survived by her daughters, Linda (Rebecca Woods) Kennedy and Laurie Englert; son, Michael (Ann) Englert; grandsons, Robert (Allison) Nelson and Jared Englert; great-grandson, Henry Nelson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband and father of her children, Thomas N. Englert; second husband, Phillip Landoll; grandson, William Nelson; brother, Ronald Grinold; and stepfather, John Williams.
Visitation for friends will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024, until the time of Bonita's funeral at 1 p.m. at Meadow Green Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2602 Bogart Rd., Huron, with Linda Kennedy presiding. Bonita's funeral will conclude at the funeral home. Private burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
