Clyde
Bonita A. "Bonnie" Mock, 92, of Clyde, passed away peacefully Friday, August 22, 2025. Known fondly as Bonnie, Maw, G-maw, or Grams, she filled the lives of those around her with an abundance of warmth and support.
Born in Columbus, Ohio, August 13, 1933, Bonnie spent most of her life in Clyde. She worked at Whirlpool Corp in Clyde as a floor supervisor until 1994. Outside of work, Bonnie was a woman of many talents and interests. She loved building things with power tools, golfing, bowling, camping, and spending quality time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bonnie is survived by her sons, Dave (Laura DePolo) of Medina, Ohio, Dan (Marla Jennings) of Lebanon, Indiana, and Doug (Lynn Bussmann) of Lakewood, Ohio. She leaves behind her much-loved grandchildren, Sara (Ian) Jeffries, Wes (Andrea Labyk), Jordan (Sage Wood), Seth, Justin (Samantha Bellear), Ellen (Chris Wiethe) and Will (Micara Threlkeld); and great-grandchildren, Avery, Mila, Calvin, Hunter, Beau, Benji, Zoe and Lily.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Annabelle Myers; her great-aunt and uncle, William and Marietta Orton; her sister, Connie Holl; and her dear friend, Virginia Eby.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, August 29, 2025, at Auxter-Recker Funeral Home, 218 South Main Street, Clyde, Ohio, 43410.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in honor of Bonnie Mock may be made to Sandusky County Humane Society (humanesanduskyco.org).
