Bonnie J. Parker, 76, of Castalia, passed away Thursday afternoon, Feb. 1, 2024, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
She was born June 4, 1947, in Sandusky, and graduated from Perkins High School. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Castalia, and attended Sandusky Community Church of the Nazarene. Bonnie worked for Erie County Juvenile Detention Home and Reality House for Girls and retired from Margaretta Schools as a study hall monitor. She loved playing candy crush on her computer and watching the Hallmark channel on TV.
She is survived by two sons, Don (Audra) Parker and Mark (Tara) Parker; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Parker, in 2021; parents, Clinton and Geraldine (Copsey) House Sr.; sister, Cheryl Porter; and brother, Clinton J. House II.
Visitation for friends will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, 2024, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. Bonnie's funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Castalia Cemetery.
