It is with deep sorrow that the family of Brenda K. (Gladwell) Austin, 64, of Sandusky, announce her peaceful passing Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022, at Stein Hospice Care Center.
She was born Dec. 22, 1957, in Sandusky, and was a Perkins High School graduate.
She loved watching Cleveland Browns, fishing, shooting pool, and boating with her boyfriend, John.
Brenda is survived by her mother, June Gladwell of Sandusky; granddaughter, Kyleigh June Austin; sister, Cheryl Bays of Sandusky; brother, Tim Gladwell of Sandusky; best friend, "Cousin" Vanessa; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Austin; son, Brian Austin; father, Harold Gladwell; and brothers, Kevin Gladwell and Jeff Gladwell.
At her request, cremation will take place and no services will take place.
Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice Service, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio, 44870.

Brenda was a very lovely person she will be deeply missed. I had the pleasure to work for her father, Sheriff Harold Gladwell, with the Erie County Sheriff's Department.
