Carl M. Cheek, 74, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022. Carl was born June 16, 1948, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of George and Alma (Simmons) Cheek.
Carl married Sherry Biecheler on Oct. 5, 1968, in Avery, Ohio. She survives along with daughter, Shawn Alexander of Norwalk; son Chad (Susie) Cheek of Monroeville; daughter, Cary (Matt) Feasel of Tiffin; grandchildren, Madison (Nick) Shullick, Evan Cheek, Dominic Cruz, Loren Smith, Katelyn Alexander, and Cadence, Courtney, and Avery Feasel; great-grandchildren, Ariel Brown, Rosalina Cheek, and Tristen, Trey, and Brooks Shullick.
He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Titiana (Ani) (Cheek) Cruz; siblings, John Williams, Bob Williams, Charles Fosnaugh, Susan Pritchard; and son-in-law, Don Alexander.
Carl was a 1967 graduate of Margaretta High School, Castalia, and went on to retire from G&C Foundry in Sandusky in 2005. He was a spectator of his grandchildren's events like wrestling, softball, volleyball, dance recitals, and go-kart racing. He appreciated a classic car show, a flea market with a good bargain, and reading a good book.
Friends will be received 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022, at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Burial will be at Bellevue City Cemetery.

My sincere condolences. I knew Carl at the old Grill Meats. He was a very nice, happy guy to work with. The world lost a very special person. I am sure he is with God now. Rest in peace Carl.
