Cathie Westcott, 75, residing in Norwalk, passed away Tuesday, Dec.17, 2024, after a sudden illness to be with her heavenly father.
Cathie was born July 4, 1949, in Sandusky to the late John and Lorene (Borsick) Bostater.
Cathie graduated from Milan High School in 1967. Cathie had a very strong faith in God. She was a passionate member of Norwalk Gathering and Westlake Bible Fellowship. Cathie was very involved in church ministries, including Invest In Youth (IVY). She enjoyed traveling with her family and spending time playing games with them, especially with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children, Kimberly (Andy) Hylton of North Ridgeville, Jeffrey (Julie) Westcott of Norwalk, Jenelle (Andy) Morris of Elyria and Bryan (Amanda) Westcott of Florence; 28 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Cathie is preceded in death by her husband, Terry Westcott, in 2011; and her granddaughter, Bethany Ann Hylton.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024, at Groff Funeral Home, 1 S. Main St., Milan. A private burial will take place at Milan Cemetery.
