Charles R. Moore, 78, Norwalk, passed away Friday, November 28, 2025, at Admirals Pointe, Huron, unexpectedly.
He was born in Leatherwood, Kentucky, November 3, 1947, to the late Robert and Ada (Hensley) Moore.
He was a 1966 graduate of Margaretta High School.
Charles was a data specialist in quality control for Ford Motor Company in Sandusky for over 40 years, retiring in 2007.
He was a member of United Auto Workers Union and loved working with computers, golfing, bowling, and camping.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marsha (Smith) Moore; daughter, Meredith (Shane) Krebs, Castalia; son, Jonathon (Angela) Moore, Lewis Center; grandchildren, Ethan (Ashley), Emily, Hannah, David, Elijah, and Sarah; great-granddaughter, Emilia; sister, Alice Fowler; brothers, Glenn Moore and Rick (Patty) Moore; sister-in-law, Nancy Smith; and several nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Benjamin Moore.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. until time of funeral service at 4 p.m. Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Rev. Rusty Yost will officiate.
