Charlotte Marie (Poole) (Randleman) Farris, 84, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully Friday, July 29, 2022, to be with our Lord.
She was born Aug. 12, 1937, in New London, to the late Elsie Marie Arnold and the late Arthur Poole. Charlotte had many talents. She loved sports and she loved everyone she encountered. Charlotte truly loved her family. Charlotte would cook, dance, and sing. Most of all, she was full of wisdom.
Charlotte raised seven children on her own and made sure that they all got their diplomas. Charlotte had many jobs, including Gray's Drug Store, Sandusky Folding Box, and dispatcher for Ohio State Highway Patrol. She retired from Sandusky Police Department.
Charlotte leaves to mourn, her sister, the Rev. Doris Troup; children, Tony (Claudine) Randleman of Las Vegas, Nevada, Terrance (Doris) Randleman of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Tracia (Paul) Brown Sr., Tonya Randleman Swain, Von (Penny) Randleman, Vincent (Valarie) Randleman, and Brett Farris, all of Sandusky; grandchildren, Paul Brown Jr., Pamela Brown, Chardae Swain, Dean Swain Jr., DeNarea Swain Sr., Vincent Randleman II, Vanessa Randleman, Terrance Anthony Randleman, Toriah Randleman, Teran Randleman, Tierra Randleman, Nakosha Farris, Dalton Farris, Xander Farris, Justin Clement, and Erica (Glen) Harris; special grandchildren, Davey Brown, Teleasha Warren, and Calvin (Maria) Randleman; many great-grandchildren; special friends, David A. Brown Sr. and James Aaron Jr.; and so many others.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by granddaughter/niece, Andre D. Warren; daughter-in-law, Teresa Randleman; son-in-law, Dean Swain Sr.; aunts, Ruby and Beulah; uncle, Bill; and the true maker, grandmother, Mary Quinn.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022, until her funeral begins at 11 a.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1215 Pierce St., Sandusky. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, is handling arrangements.

My deepest sympathy to Aunt Charlotte's children as I have such fond memories of spending fun times with my cousins throughout our childhood and into adulthood. I understand the pain you are experiencing now, but know that God has her in His Hands and she is in incredible company with the loved ones who preceded her...they will take care of her too!
