Cynthia Louise Johnson, 80, of Castalia, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024, at her residence surrounded by family.
She was born Nov. 30, 1943, in Washburn, Tennessee, to Clarence and Nettie Acuff. She retired from Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky. She loved being with her family, going to garage sales, and going back home to Tennessee.
Louise is survived by her daughter, Beverly Young; sister, Jeanette (Hurst) (Eric) Sharpe; grandchildren, Mandy (Erica) Johnson, Melissa Hineline, Steven Earl Johnson Jr., Sydney Johnson, and Tyler Johnson; and great-grandchildren, Jacob Johnson, Zamiyah Missler, and Cecilia Aucoin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, B. Earl Johnson; daughter, Linda S. Johnson; son, Steven Earl Johnson Sr.; parents, Clarence and Nettie Acuff; great-granddaughter, Avalyn Johnson; and brother, Jerry Acuff.
Visitation for friends will be 12 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024, until the time of Cynthia's services at 1 p.m. at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. Burial will be at Castalia Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Johnson Family, 205 Lester St., Castalia, Ohio, 44824.
