BELLEVUE
Together for 34 years and now, together forever. Dale Wing and Nila Bruno of Bellevue both passed this week.
Dale Robert Wing was born Sept. 4, 1958, and passed away Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022, at age 64, surrounded by his family. Dale loved NASCAR, collecting vinyl records, fishing, and attending rock concerts. Most of all, he loved his family.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Frederick Wing and Patricia Bell Wing; brothers, Michael Patrick Wing and Keith Frederick Wing; sister, Marsha Leigh Wing; and both sets of grandparents.
He leaves behind a son, Alex Charles of Clyde; sisters, Sylvia Jane Garmon of Sandusky, Rebecca L Dunn of Key Largo, Florida, and Carolyn (Ronald) Wing Davis of Hillsborough, North Carolina; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Nila Jean Bruno was born Aug. 27, 1949. She passed away unexpectedly Monday, Sept. 12, 2022, at age 73.
Nila graduated from Clyde High School, and enjoyed crossword puzzles and spending time with her granddaughters and the love of her life, Dale.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas Bruno and Gladys Bruno. She leaves behind a daughter, Natalie Carraway; and two granddaughters, Alijah Lane and Bella Grace Christiansen, all of Carolina Beach, North Carolina; a grandson, Ashlee Ryan Nunley, Toledo.
Cremation for both Dale and Nila will be at Foos & Foos Funeral Home, Bellevue. No services are planned at this time.
