David Barone Obituary

David Joseph Barone

Dec 12, 1975 - Jul 21, 2023

Bradford, PA

David Barone, formerly of Milan and residing in Fremont, passed away unexpectedly Friday afternoon, July 21, 2023.

He was born Dec. 12, 1975, in Bradford, Pennsylvania, to Joseph R. and Barbara J. (Lutz) Barone.

He graduated from Edison High School, Milan, attended Akron University, and graduated from Lincoln Electric Welding School.

David's personality was infectious. He loved to make others laugh and could light up a room with his smile. He enjoyed both listening to and playing music on his guitar and the piano, as well as working on his bicycles and spending time perfecting his welding technique. He was a talented artist, creating tattoos and a variety of drawings and sculptures. David enjoyed cooking for others and loved to indulge in anything sweet, especially Sour Patch Kids! He liked to snowboard, skateboard, and collect unique clothing and shoes. He was also an avid reader of just about anything and loved to talk politics with his mother and friends. Most of all, David loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara J. Barone of Milan; sons and stepdaughter, Domenico, Vincenzo, and Madison, all of Sandusky; daughter, Anastasia of Milan; sisters, Laura (Charles) Oeder of Milan and Kate (Richard) Dimock of Albuquerque, New Mexico; nieces, Hannah and Raegan; nephews, Thomas and Roman; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph R. Barone; infant sister, Elizabeth A. Barone; maternal grandparents, Eleanor and Gerald Lutz; and paternal grandparents, Anna and Samuel Barone.

Visitation for friends will be 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2023, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, One South Main Street, Milan. A private family service will follow. Burial will take place at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Milan, at a later date.
