David A. Boor, 74, of Huron, passed away Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023, at Firelands Regional Medical Center.
David was born Sept. 13, 1948, in Shelby, to Eugene and Helen (Adams) Boor.
He was a member of Huron United Methodist Church and loved singing in the church choir and Firelands Symphony Orchestra Chorale. David earned a B.S. in Education Degree from The Ohio State University. He went on to earn a Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling from Bowling Green State University. He was a lifetime educator working with students with learning disabilities.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; daughter, Abigail (Jeremy) Holden; and two grandsons, Julian Boor Bennett and Seth Sabino Bennett.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sarah Boor Bennett.
Family and friends may call 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023, at Foster Funeral Home, 410 Main St., Huron, Ohio, 44839. David's funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, 2023, at Huron United Methodist Church, 338 Williams St., Huron, Ohio, 44839.
Memorial contributions can be made to Huron United Methodist Church Choir or Firelands Symphony Orchestra Chorale, 1 University Dr., Huron, Ohio, 44839.
