Deborah Francis (McCann) Hinkle, 79, residing in Sandusky, passed away Sunday evening, October 26, 2025, at Firelands Regional Medical Center.

Deborah was born August 6, 1946, in Sandusky, to the late Frank and Nancy (Spore) McCann.

Deborah enjoyed reading and crocheting baby blankets for the maternity ward at Firelands Regional Medical Center. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Theodore"Ted" Hinkle, whom she married June 12, 1965. She is also survived by her daughters, Karen Hammersley of Dayton and Sharon (Rick) Alexander of Celina; four grandchildren, Cecelia, Ted, Kaylee and Kyle; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Deborah is preceded in death by a sister, Kathy McCann.

A private family inurnment will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory will be assisting family with arrangements.
