Debra Bartow Obituary

Debra L. (Hudnall) Bartow

Jul 22, 1958 - Jan 17, 2024

Norwalk

Debra (Hudnall) "Debi" Bartow, 65, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.

She was born July 22, 1959, in Cleveland, the daughter of Robert and Bonnie (Ray) Hudnall. She grew up in Marblehead, graduating from Danbury High School in 1977.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Debi loved everything from cooking for her big family, friends, and coworkers, capturing family moments with her camera, operating a bingo game for Norwalk Catholic Schools, and enjoying the company of her grandchildren.

Over the years, she enjoyed going on cruises, creating great memories with her friends, sharing her funny moments with her husband, Tom, and as he would say, "taking any chance she had to sit in front of a slot machine."

She was also an avid Cleveland, Ohio State, and Norwalk St. Paul sports fan.

Debi is survived by her husband, Tom Bartow; their five children, Deanne, Robert, Preston, Tommy, and Michael (Emma) Bartow; five grandchildren, Lilian, Elissa, Laila, Donovan, and Preston Jr.; and siblings, Michael Sforzo, Sandra (Daniel) Hudnall-Fillmore, and Robin (Nikki) Hudnall-Lloyd.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Bonnie "Mama."

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024, at David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Debi's funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024, the funeral home with the Rev. Ken Oswald officiating. She will be laid to rest at Perkins Cemetery in Sandusky.

The Bartow family would like to thank Suncrest Hospice for their comforting and loving care. They would also like to thank Dr. James Kaufman, Dr. Raj Signh, and their staff at James Cancer Center.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made towards the Suncrest Cares Foundation and The Ohio State University James Cancer Center.
