Diana R. Wright, 72, residing in Brook Park, unexpectedly passed away Friday morning, March 17, 2023, at Cleveland Clinic Hospital.

Diana was born Dec. 5, 1950, in Akron, to Grant and Beatrice (Smith) Heller. She graduated from Manchester High School in 1969. Diana was a school bus driver for Perkins Township Public Schools. She followed her family closely and made sure to go to as many events as she could and took great pride in being a mother and nana to her children and grandchildren. Family and tradition were the cornerstone of her life. Diana was a friend to many, always had a kind word for everyone, and knew no strangers. Her smile was infectious and will be remembered by many.

She is survived by her daughters, Heather Marie Wright and Melissa Marie (Kevin LaRose) Wright; son, Matthew Larry David (Amy) Wright; grandchildren, Brandon, Kat, Grant, Jaremy, Colton, Grady, and Vince; great-grandchild, Grey; brother, Gary (Debbie) Heller; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents; and loving husband, Larry Wright.

Diana's memorial service will be 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2023, at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Road, Akron, Ohio, 44319, with Pastor Amy Downard officiating. Visitation will be 4-6:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
