Sandusky
Diane Stahl, 82, of Sandusky, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024, in Clinton Township, Michigan. She died due to complications from a recent fall.
She was born in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, to George and Florence (nee Shirey) Stahl. The family moved to Medina when Diane was three years old. Diane was a graduate of Buckeye High School, class of 1959. She was a deputy clerk at Medina Municipal Court, worked several years at Koch Aluminum in Sandusky, and retired from Sandusky Municipal Court. She was a member of Christ Community Church, Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.
She is survived by her sister, Betty Moehle of Shelby Township, Michigan; special friend, Charlie Ryan of Sandusky; many nieces and nephews; and countless friends.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, George and Florence Stahl; sisters, Ruby Couperthwaite and Audrey Demczyk; and brothers, Daniel and James Stahl.
Visitation will be 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road, Valley City. Diane's funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2024, at the funeral home. Burial will follow immediately at York Township Cemetery, Mallet Creek.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Community Church, 2401 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, Ohio, 44870.
