Donna M. Reer, 82, of Bellevue, passed away unexpectedly Thursday evening, Jan. 12, 2023, at The Bellevue Hospital.

She was born March 28, 1940, in Norwalk, and was a 1958 graduate of Norwalk High School. Donna retired after over 20 years as secretary for Flat Rock Children's Home. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She immensely loved each one of them equally. Donna loved Disney and would travel to Florida to spend time in various parks, including Disney cruises. Her hobbies included reading books, painting, and baking, specializing in pecan and cherry pies. She also enjoyed volunteering with lunches at Bellevue Elementary School.

She is survived by her husband, Gerold Reer, whom she has spent 47 years with; four sons, Rex Telquist of Florida, and Sven (Bobbie) Telquist, Paul (Heather) Powell, and Matthew (Amy Foust) Reer, all of Ohio; stepson, Michael (Lisa) Reer of Ohio; stepdaughter, Theresa (Phil Brown) Reer of Ohio; grandchildren, Keely (Ronald) Harrison, Thayne (Jordan) Telquist, Kelsey (Ricky) Colon, Cole (Emily Dell) Telquist, Mercades (Joe Prentice) Reer, Titus Reer, Taylor Reer, Dravin Stratton, and Jesstin (Nick Hinsch) Foust; identical twin great-grandsons, Lucas and Dean Telquist, great-grandson, Winslow Hinsch; one great-granddaughter on the way; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rex and Gertrude (Martin) McCrillis; and two siblings.

Private family services will be at Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville. Father Ron Schock will officiate. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroeville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.

Dear Jerry and Family, So sorry to hear of Donna´s passing. I worked with her during her years of service to Flat Rock. You definitely knew of her love of family and life. I remember her care for others and her joyous laughter. Peace to all of you.
