Doris Dean (Lively) Black, 88, residing in Sandusky, passed away Monday, August 18, 2025, at her residence.

Doris was born May 21, 1937, in Lookout, West Virginia, to the late Wilbert and Luella (Chapman) Lively.

Doris was employed as a laborer at American Crayon for many years. Doris was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed word puzzles, attending church and visiting with her friends.

Doris is survived by her three daughters, Cheryl Manning, Debbie and Dawn Black; two grandchildren, Dewey and Donny; two great-grandchildren, Aiden and D.J.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Doris is preceded in death by husband, Donald Robert Black, in 2016.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at noon Monday, August 25, 2025, at Meadow Green Funeral Home, 2602 Bogart Road, Huron, Ohio, with the Reverend David Hixson presiding. Private burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
