Edward Kessler Obituary

Edward A. "Ed" Kessler

Mar 22, 1955 - Sep 4, 2024

Sandusky

Edward A. "Ed" Kessler, 69, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, Sept. 4, 2024, with his family at his side at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland.

Ed was born March 22, 1955, in Sandusky, the son of Robert and Rose Mary (Jesberger) Kessler. He was a 1975 graduate of Perkins High School. Ed was employed at a variety of places over the years, eventually retiring after several years at Meijer. He enjoyed watching all of the Cleveland sports teams, especially the Cavaliers. He also liked watching the Ohio State Buckeyes football and WWE "wrestling". He loved animals, and he loved his trips to the casinos with his dad. Most of all, he loved his family very much.

Ed is survived by his wife of 31 years, Patricia A. (Stamm) Kessler; his daughter, Emily A. Kessler; his brother, Dave (Barb) Kessler; three sisters, Sheryl (Paul) Clark, Sandie (Tom) Winters, and Deanna Matso, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

It was Ed's wish to be cremated. Private family services for immediate and extended family members will be held. Inurnment is to be held at Meadow Green Memorial Park, in Huron.

The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in his memory to one's favorite charity.

Arrangements are entrusted to David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, OH. You may share your memories and words of comfort with Ed's family at davidfkoch.com.
