Firm A. Havice, 85, of Bellevue, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Stein Hospice Care Center.
He was born March 14, 1939, in Sandusky, to Graydon and Frances (Puckrin) Havice.
Firm graduated from Sandusky High School in 1957. He was employed by Ohio Bell, Venture Packaging, and Wensink Seed Farms. He was a member of Congregational United Church of Christ in Castalia. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, camping, reading, and playing cards with friends. He was a member of Lions Club, Grotto, and Eagles.
Firm is survived by his wife, Cathy (Ferres) Havice; children, Paul, Tamara Smith, and Stephen; stepchildren, Leah Lepley and Dana Schaeffer; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Glenn "Smiley."
At Firm's request, cremation will take place. A committal service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, April 25, 2024, inside the Meadow Green Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 2602 Bogart Rd., Huron. The Rev. John Paputza will officiate. A reception and luncheon will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Congregational U.C.C. fellowship hall, 205 Main St., Castalia.
Those wishing to contribute to Firm's memory may do so to Stein Hospice or one's favorite charity.
