My sister and I fondly remember Mrs. Kurtz as being Mom's very kind roommate while Mom spent time at Providence Care Center. They shared the "room with the view" (the brick wall) and they would joke about it together. When mom was able to return home, we took a great picture of your mom and our mom together. Mom was readmitted to Providence Care in 2020, and while we were hopeful the two of them could be "roomies" again, mom ended up her next door neighbor on Cedarview Wing. With COVID, we couldn't just pop in and say "hello," but we always waved to Mrs. Kurtz from the hallway, and she always had a smile in return. We are all sorry for your loss and her passing. Our prayers are with you for peace. Having a beloved mom in skilled care is never easy. Val and Kay (daughters of Karol Barone)
