Geneva Arrington, 74, of Sandusky, transitioned into eternal rest Friday, September 19, 2025, at Firelands Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

She was born February 3, 1951, in Sandusky, and was raised by her mother, Ruby (Jenkins) Mills, and father, James Jackson Mills. She attended Perkins High School, where she graduated with honors.

Geneva cherished her role as a wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was a true homemaker, making sure her family was cared for. Geneva loved going to church and praising the Lord. She also loved cooking, fishing, reading, and cleaning. Geneva also enjoyed watching basketball and football, her favorite teams being the Cavaliers and Browns. She was blessed with a loving and close-knit family.

She is survived by William "Will" Arrington Jr., Marvin Arrington, and Derrick (Tasheia) Arrington; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, James "Big Jim" Mills of Inglewood, California; special sister, Barbara Ann Deku; sisters-in-law, Frances (Cooper) Arrington and Darlene Reed Gowdy; special cousins, Marcia Jones of Cincinnati, Gayle Witherspoon of Louisville, Kentucky, and Wanya Bumpus of Sandusky; special niece, Yolanda Kimble of Elyria; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, of 48 years, and partner for 58 years, William "Big Bill" Arrington Sr.; brothers, Willie "Plute" C. Mills and Alvin Mills; and sisters, Dorothy Mills and Jacqueline (Mills) Jackson.

Friends may call from 11 a.m.-noon Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will begin at noon. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
