Georgia Ann Holmes, 62, of Lakeside-Marblehead, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center, Norwalk. She was born May 26, 1962, in Port Clinton to George and Virginia (Cutcher) Witter. On February 2, 1990, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Marblehead, she married Kenneth H. Holmes Sr., and he preceded her in death May 31, 2023.

Georgia worked primarily as a homemaker, caring for her family. She loved animals, especially her cats, who she always had a soft spot for. Georgia liked plants, but she for sure was no Green Thumb! She was an avid reader, and liked playing games on her Android phone. Georgia was known to be a good cook. Her family really enjoyed her fruit cocktail and macaroni salad. Her sons are going to miss getting yelled at by her after they lovingly tried to pick on her.

Georgia is survived by her sons, Kenneth H. Holmes Jr. and Brandon J. Holmes; brother, Jim (Robin) Witter; aunts, Lee Longnecker and Karen (Bill) Sibley; nieces, Natasha (Jason Fleenor) Witter and Nichole (Jon) Marvicsion; additional nieces & nephews; and great-nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Visitation for Georgia will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 216 Washington St., Port Clinton. Funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2025, at the funeral home, with burial to follow in LaCarpe Cemetery, LaCarne.
