Georgianna Yvonne DeNoewer, 85, residing in Sandusky, passed away early Wednesday morning, March 8, 2023, at Parkvue Health Care Center after a lengthy illness.
Georgianna was born March 3, 1938, in Sandusky, to the late George and Helen (Tyrell) DeNoewer. She enjoyed reading, being outdoors, and most importantly, spending time with her family and friends.
Georgianna is survived by her daughters, Teresa Rohr of New London and Sheryl Puder of Sandusky; son, Christopher Steinen of New London; four grandchildren, Sara, Justin, Paige, and Jannele; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Penny (Ben) Brummette of Castalia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Georgianna was preceded in death by her grandson, Will Thompson; sister, Pat Jennings; and brothers, Jim and Pete DeNoewer.
Private family services will take place with entombment following at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, Sandusky, is assisting family with services.
