Gladys Marie "Pat" King Englehart, 98, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2023, at Parkvue Health Care Center, Sandusky.
She was born April 4, 1925, in Webster County, Missouri. She was a graduate of Conway High School in Conway, Missouri.
She was a long time resident of Sandusky and was a baptized member of Jehovah's Witnesses for 58 years.
She is survived by five children, Janice Collison and husband Val of Conway, Missouri, Vernard Englehart of Fremont, Sherrill and husband Don Giles of Huron, Calvin Englehart of Wytheville, Virginia, and Timothy and wife Gay Englehart of Bellevue; 14 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Vernard Russell Englehart; daughter, Connie Cook; parents, James William and Margaret Vahle King; siblings, Evelyn Ellenor King Powers Gee, Emily Louise Powers, Everett Dallas King, Sarah Berniece Perryman, Reatha Loretta King, and James William King Jr.; and two grandchildren, Brian Englehart and Laura Englehart.
A private memorial service will be at a later date.
The family would like to offer special thanks to the staff of Parkvue Health Care Center for their wonderful and attentive care throughout the years and her final days.
