Glen G. Mitchell, 59, Castalia, went to meet his Lord and Savior Monday, September 22, 2025.
He was born in Sandusk, December 29, 1965, to the late Glen W. and Mary (Byrd) Mitchell and attended Margaretta High School and Terra Community College.
He was employed by American Bailer in Bellevue and was well-known at Sandusky Speedway, where he raced pure and super stocks. Glen also played in the bands Austin Healey, Driver Wild and Slander.
He is survived by his children, Evan Mitchell and Emma Mitchell; siblings, Jennifer Harvey, Kim Mitchell, and Ruby (Bob) Klotz; nephews, Bobby Klotz, Rusty (Leigh) Klotz, Dustin (Emily) Mitchell; niece, Melissa (Allen) Miller; great niece, Payton Dennis; great nephews, Dakota Dennis, Dalton Dennis, and Dustin Mitchell Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. Monday, September 29, 2025, at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Pastor Allen Holmes will officiate. Burial will be at Castalia Cemetery.
