Gloria A. Pettis, 74, residing in Sandusky, passed away Tuesday morning, December 2, 2025, at home after a brief illness.
Gloria was born November 19, 1951, in Sandusky, to the late Preston Walk and Makavee (Young) Lewis.
Gloria enjoyed fishing, shopping online and cracking jokes.
Gloria is survived by her daughter, Gessica Jones; son, Jeremy Jones; 10 grandchildren, Jalen, Jeris, Darrien, Jessica, Deshawn, Dadre, Matihson, Shadahn, Amalfi and Lukka; eight great-grandchildren, Nizaiah, Demarriay, Jasahn, Navonni, Kaoir, Kairo, Jakobe, and Janiya; five sisters; three brothers; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Gloria is preceded in death by four brothers.
Memorial Service will take place at 3 p.m. Friday, December 12, 2025, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky.
