Guy D. Sage, 59, residing in Sandusky, passed away Monday afternoon, December 4, 2023 at Stein Hospice Care Center after a brief illness.

Guy was born on November 17, 1964 in Sandusky, Ohio to Garland Sage Sr. and Frances (Fox) Sage.

He was employed with Messenburg Brothers as a truck driver, was also formerly employed at Cyclone and Sandusky Steel. Guy enjoyed working, country music and watching football, especially the Pittsburg Steelers and spending time with his family and friends.

Guy is survived by his mother, his sons, Zachery Sage of Elyria, and Spencer Bahnsen of Sandusky, brothers, Garland Sage Jr. of Sandusky, and Gary (Anna) Sage of Sandusky, sisters Kitty (Rick) Young of Texas, and Heather (Matthew) Thompson and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his father, Guy is preceded in death by his brother Daniel Sage and his great-niece Brittney Sexton.

Private Family Services will be held and conducted at a later date.
