Helen L. Riley, 93, of Milan, passed away peacefully Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024, at Twilight Gardens Nursing Home. She was born Oct. 3, 1930, in South Shore, Kentucky, to Cecil and Molly M. (Sloan) Hall.

Helen lived in the Portsmouth area until the late 1950s, when she met her husband, Donald E. Riley, and the two moved to Ohio. She enjoyed collecting ceramic dolls, canning, and flowers and was a very hard worker. Helen had worked for Rotary Printing and Fair Publishing and was a member of Milan Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Rick (Patti) Riley and Barbara (Noel David) Searls; sister Cleo Richards; four grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; husband, Donald E. Riley; daughter, Diane Beebe; sister, Mary Blair; brother, David Hall; and granddaughter, Kimberly Ann Riley.

A private family burial will be at Middleburg Cemetery. Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, Norwalk, is honored to assist the family with Helen's funeral arrangements.
