It was my good fortune to know Jim during his entire career at the First-Knox National Bank. Jim epitomized Relationship Banking in every aspect of his service to his commercial loan customers, particularly the Holmes County Amish businesses that he cherished.
"Brinker" stories became almost legendary among his coworkers and most were rooted in a sense of humor that ran deep in Jim's personalty. Every one of us is better for those experiences.
Reading the obituary that had to be his doing, I know that Jim is smiling down knowing that he left us laughing (classic Brinker).
Jim is now reunited with Donna and they will enjoy eternal happiness.
Fran and I express our sincere condolences to Stacey and Jennifer. Your Dad will always be remembered as one of the "Good Guys".

Forever your hearts will bare the scar of his death and the JOY of his life. Now with the exception of one, the crew of the FINE FEATHER are now sailing once again in calm & stormy seas under God's palette of colors with sunrises and sunsets. Lots of memories and love.

I work at planet fitness for over 6 years, Jim was a regular i would see ALL THE TIME!! I LOVED him and pretty sure he loved me too he was always uplifting and asking about my children and how I'm doing I've missed him these past months and he was in my prayers he pushed through ALL his workouts like a CHAMP, even that dreaded stairclimber( even i couldn't do what he did!!) I will TRULY miss him and so will Charlie, or emotional support animal here, . but he is with the loves that passed on before him. RIP Jim.... you deserve it love you, Jacquie
