Jason Irvin Martin, 42, of Sandusky, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022, at Cleveland Clinic.

Jason was a life-long resident of Sandusky. He was born March 27, 1980, and was a 1999 graduate of Sandusky High School.

He worked at Whirlpool in Clyde for 15 years before starting at Ventra Plastics in Sandusky for the last five years.

He loved traveling, sports, and watching movies. He never met a stranger and he could make your day better just by his laughter. His presence filled any space with so much laughter and love and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

He is survived by his son, Jaelen Martin of Austell, Georgia; sister, Tiffany Martin of Las Vegas, Nevada; his love and queen, Katrice Keys of Sandusky; aunts, Eloise Johnson-Rhodes of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Sandusky, Angeline Henson of Sandusky, and Martha Faye Henson of Chicago, Illinois; special cousins, William J Clark II of Lorain and Dwayne Henson of Sandusky; life-long friends, Steve Stewart of Sandusky and Johnny Smith of Perrysburg; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and Kerrion Keys, whom he loved as his own son.

Jason was preceded in death by his mother, Constance Lee Martin; and father, Wess Larry Henson.

Friends and family may call 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022, until time of Jason's funeral at 12 p.m. at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
