Norwalk

Jean M. "Jeannie" Frederick, 81, of Norwalk, a loving sister, aunt, and friend to many, passed away peacefully Monday, Jan. 9, 2023, in the care of Stein Hospice at Norwalk Memorial Home.

Jeannie, formerly of Sandusky and Port Clinton, retired in Norwalk and graduated from St. Mary's High School in Sandusky. She was a Certified Dental Assistant and Dental Assistant Instructor at EHOVE Tech. School. Working various other jobs, she was sure to be friendly and responsive to all her friends, old and new.

She is survived by her siblings, David Frederick, Ruth Stetson, and Susan Gottschalk; many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Thelma Frederick; brothers, James and Richard Frederick; and sister, Carolyn Kaman.

Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023, where a wake service will take place at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main St., Norwalk. Private interment will be at a later date in Port Clinton.
