Jean Stewart Obituary

Jean M. Stewart

Jun 9, 1949 - Feb 1, 2023

Norwalk

Jean M. Stewart, 73, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Jean was born June 9, 1949, in Elyria. She graduated from Elyria High School and MB Johnson's School of Nursing. A devoted wife and mother, she enjoyed annual family vacations to Atlantic City where she took cart rides up and down the boardwalk and yearly trips to New York City with her daughter to go shopping, see Broadway Shows, and take carriage rides around Central Park. Many fun days were spent shopping or at the spa getting her nails done. Above all else, Jean loved spending time with her children and playing with her grandchildren.

Jean leaves behind her husband, Dan Stewart, whom she married July 26, 1975; children, Megan (Stewart) and Matt Costello, both of Perrysburg, and Patrick and Tana (Bryant) Stewart, both of Norwalk; and grandchildren, Delaney Costello, Griffin Stewart, and Gordon Stewart.

There will be no services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.

Dear Megan, Matt, and the Stewart family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know Jean personally, but Matt spoke very highly of her to me. May your memories of her help you through these difficult days and know that she is cradling Bailey in her arms, as they both look down from heaven as your guardian angels for the rest of your days! God bless!
