Jeffery Clayton Lindsey, 50, residing in Huron, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon, January 8, 2025, at Firelands Regional Medical Center.
Jeffery was born November 14, 1974, in Sandusky to Clayton R. Lindsey and Mary Lou (Mathis) Lindsey.
Jeffery had been employed with Huron Pizza House and Morning Journal for many years. He enjoyed sports of all kinds, rooting for all the Cleveland teams and OSU Buckeyes, traveling to the Smokey Mountains, watching movies and video games, and spending time with his children and family.
Jeffery is survived by his mother, Mary Lou Lindsey; his children, Mason Lindsey of Clyde, Brody Lindsey of Clyde, Zakk Sibley of Sandusky and Alanna Sibley of Sandusky; his best buddy, Dog. He is also survived by his two sisters, Veronica (Tim) Godfrey of Bellevue and Dawn Miller of Huron; two brothers, Brent (Jackie) Brandal and Mark (Mariefa) Lindsey of Sandusky; fiance, Kristy Tickles of Huron; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his father, Clayton Lindsey; Jeffery is preceded in death by his sister, Jodie Brandal.
Memorial Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Faith Church, 1320 E. Strub Road, with Pastor Ken Hiser presiding. A celebration of life will follow from 1-4 p.m. at Clyde VFW, 847 W Maple St, Clyde, OH 43410. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory will be assisting the family with arrangements.
