Joanne P. Stobie, 86, of Vickery, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Countryside Manor Healthcare, Fremont.
Joanne was born Jan. 25, 1938, in Sandusky, at Providence Hospital. She retired after 30 years of service in 2000 at Providence Hospital. She graduated from Avon Lake School.
Joanne enjoyed visiting with family, playing solitaire on her laptop, watching Steve Harvey on Family Feud, and cheering on Cleveland Guardians.
Joanne is survived by her children, Deborah (Jim) Howard of Eastlake, Timothy Stobie of Sandusky, Barbara Rayle of Vickery, Mark (Ivy) Stobie, of Beavercreek, and Janet Hamilton of Vickery; grandchildren, Christa (Steve) Kapron, Daniel (Lynette) Stobie, Kelly Stobie, Marla (David) Wahl, Russell (Lindsey) Rayle, Jason (Jess) Rayle, Zach Rayle, Andy Roe, Autumn (Derrick) Hamilton, and Ashley (Eric) Shepherd; nephew, Jack (Sherry) Bally; and niece, Jill (Harley) Janson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Stobie; parents, Roy and Celia Klueglein; and daughter-in-law, Sandra Darri Stobie.
Joanne's memorial gathering will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2024, until the time of her memorial service at 2 p.m. at Groff Funeral Home, 1607 East Perkins Avenue, Sandusky, Ohio, 44870.
