It was with great surprise and sadness to hear if the passing of Coach John Kilmer. He was a good teacher, an aspiring coach and a good man. On behalf of the Sanchez family, I send my condolences and prayers to his family. He was "buena gente"! May he rest in peace.

As a counselor at Penta Career Center and later at Rossford, I worked with John on individual student needs and guidance issues in general. John was a perfect match in his position as counselor at Genoa. A sincere advocate for his students and their needs, and a huge, positive influence and help to fellow area guidance counselors, John will be missed by all. With his passing, my prayers to his family and the community he served for so many years
