John David Koch, 60, of Seguin, Texas, passed away Friday, April 26, 2024.
John was born Nov. 5, 1963, in Bellevue, to Jacqueline Jean (Richards) and Orville E. Koch.
John's survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Deborah Irwin; siblings, Roy Koch (Donna) of Oregon, Steve Koch (Debbie) of Florida, Beth Koch of California, and Mark Koch of Virginia; his wife's three children and nine grandchildren whom he thought the world of; nieces and nephews, Nathan Koch (Katie), Connie Crawford (Kyle), Chad Koch, Brittany Jones (Brandon), Luca Robbins, and Stephanie Schuler (Jason); two dog fur babies, Kleine and Elsa, who he loved with all his heart; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2024, until the time of John's memorial service at 2 p.m. at Emanuel's Lutheran Church in Seguin, Texas. The Rev. Marcus Bigott and Pastor Tom Jones will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office Deputies and special friend, Thomas Cavanagh. Honorary pallbearers will be Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office employees, active and retired.
Memorial contributions may be made to Guadalupe County Humane Society, P.O. Box 1593, Seguin, Texas, 78155-1593, or American Cancer Society, Jeanette Siltmann, 196 Townesend Rd., Seguin, Texas, 78155.
