I attended high school with John. His family lived on Lake Erie and many of his high school classmates spent much time on their beach each summer. John taught me to water ski with great patience and later with great zeal as he tried to hurl me around the wake. I am sorry to hear that he . I offer my sincere sympathy to his family.
