Joseph M. Shupe, 58, of Greenwich, passed away Monday, Feb. 6, 2023, as a dinosaur at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 12, 1964, in Norwalk, to the late Milton and Carrie (Lease) Shupe. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and grandkids and playing cards. He liked motorcycles, Eagles, Clash, Cheezits buddy, working on cars, and loved his four-legged fur babies.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Laurie (Morehart) Shupe; children, Kira (David) Taylor of Sandusky and Ryan (Kelly) Morehart of Monroeville; grandchildren, Aubrianna, David Jr., Kelly Jo, and Skye; siblings, Louise (Allen) Hale of New London and Ron (Pam) Day of Collins; best friends, Jim (Kim) Reising; sisters-in-law, Brenda Gessner, Tina Morehart, and Peggy Peer; brother-in-law, Carl Morehart II; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Richard Day, Beverly Goodman, and Doris Day.

A celebration of life gathering will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023, at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Private interment will be at a later date.
