Joyce Ann Rogers, 82, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully Monday, Jan. 16, 2023, at Firelands Regional Medical Center.

She was born July 26, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Luella Sherred and Edward Daniels.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert Rogers Sr.; sons, Robert Rogers Jr. of Sandusky, Anthony (Ann) Rogers of Port Clinton, Curtis (Lori) Rogers of Clyde, and David Rogers of Columbus, Ohio; an abundance of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Jeanette Goodman of Chicago, Illinois; and brother, Lorenzo Sherred of Port Clinton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Carl Daniels and Rudolph Daniels; and great-grandson, Nathaniel Sowards.

Private family services will be at a later date.

Aunt joyce will be missed. One of the kindness ladies I know. We had a lot of fun with and Aunt Joyce and the boys growing up and into adulthood.

My Aunt Joyce was a very loving person but stern if u was doing something out of line she would check u and tell you you were wrong but always always showed you love.I love u Aunty and you will truly be missed but until we meet again in Heaven rest my Queen you have earned your wing in Paradise

Very sad to hear of Joyce´s passing. Years ago when Tony applied for job with me, Joyce said if I hired him he would be dependable and he would not call off work. Good Mom who guided her children to be good people and good workers. World needs more Moms like Joyce.

Honored that her so curt allowed us to getvto know joyce and all her family best memories were the 4th of July picnics with the family and joyce made you feel a part of her family being welcome to join in her Sunday cookout s at her home we will never forget the good times she allowed us to be a part of and she always asked about my kids too they looked up to her thank God for her may he give you peace and prayers to the family
