Karen Sue Brightman, 76, residing in Sandusky, passed away Sunday evening, Aug. 4, 2024, at Fairview Hospital in Cleveland after a brief illness.
She was born Jan. 19, 1948, in Sandusky. She was a 1966 graduate of Margaretta High School. Karen was a proud member of Kilroy Girls along with her sisters. She loved to spend time with her friends at their "little places." Karen doted on her grandchildren who have quite the pajama collections.
Karen is survived by her daughter, Jinnifer (Brian) Roach of Lakewood; two sons, Bryan (Wendy) Brightman of Pinckney, Michigan, and Shane (Alysia) Brightman of Sandusky; seven grandchildren, Emilee, Courtney, Libby, Sophie, Madalyn, Mitchell, and Mason; four sisters, Sharon (Dennis) Dahm, Tonya (Robert) McCarley, Sally (Glenn) Smith, and Jill (Dean) Evert; three brothers, William Limberios, Joe (Louise) Limberios, and David Limberios; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Brightman; and parents, Bill and Dolores (Borsick) Limberios.
Visitation for friends will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, 2024, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Private family burial will take place at Castalia Cemetery with Pastor Mark Bass presiding.

I was a fellow co-worker of Karen´s. We were both employed at K-Mart for years. Such a nice lady and a hard worker. Condolences to her family and loved ones.
