Kelly Kay Blackmon, 53, of Orange Beach, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at her home.

Kelly was an amazing woman being a loving daughter, wife, daughter-in-law, mother, stepmother, mother-in-law, sister, and Cosmetologist/Manager. She ran her own business and was an amazing friend to many in her short life, even to include her furry friends, Kash and KJ.

Her most dedicated love was to her husband of 23 years, Jack, to her daughter, Kelsie, and being NINA to her precious grandchildren, Tessa LaRue and Ryan Hamilton Platt. Her world was loving and being there for them every hour of every day if she could. There are so many things that bring us a smile from the Pleasures perfume that she wore, sunflowers that were her favorite flower, followed by her glamour, bling, and glitz. Kelly lit up every room she entered with her beautiful smile and loving heart. These and many more memories will be etched in our minds and hearts forever and she will not be forgotten.

Kelly is survived by her daughter, Kelsie Platt; husband, Jack Blackmon; mother, Connie Mullens; sister, Jennifer Trett; and precious grandchildren, Tessa LaRue and Ryan Hamilton.

She was preceded her in death by her father, Robert L. Trett; NANA, Maxine Patillo; grandfathers, Dr. John Schlanser, William Scott Grieve, and John Trett; grandmother, LaPearl Richey; and son-in-law, Hamilton LaRue Platt.

A celebration of Kelly's life is being planned by her family and will be announced in the near future.
